Aga Heller is a professional in the worldwide dance biz since more than fifteen years. He started as a party promoter, he used to be the manager of a worldwide respected club, he worked as an A&R and marketing manager for various major and independent record companies and he is the owner of a successful artist management and brand entertainment agency. Should be enough, eh? But not enough for Aga Heller: He is also a well-known DJ, producer and radio presenter. He runs the popular B-Live Radio Show on Radio sunshine live, a national FM and cable radio station in Germany. The show is one of the most successful radio shows in Germany with more than 200.000 listeners every week. It gets a lot of respect from all big superstar DJs all around the world. Aga Heller has them on the phone live in the show every week – he talks regularly to all big names in the House scene, to everyone from Erick Morillo to Roger Sanchez, from David Morales to Pete Tong and from Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell to the Shapeshifters, Mousse T. and Michael Gray. The show is also known for playing most big Housetracks as exclusive radio premieres – that’s the show in Germany, where you listen to the latest Housemusic first.
Aga Heller started as a usual dance fan, back in the days he discovered the dance scene in its early years and enjoyed clubbing as thousands of other people. After a while he started to promote his own events in Germany, from small club parties to big open air happenings with 10,000 people. Later on he opened his first own club, just one year later he became part of the general management of M1_The Club, a worldwide renowned House club at that time, which won several national and international awards. In 1997 Aga Heller founded his own artist management agency, which still exists and which represents several of the biggest DJs and producers of the global House scene. From 2000 to 2005 he also used to work for big major record companies and developed several big artist and compilation products.
Aga Heller started his radio career quite early. In the age of 16 he already had his first show at a local radio station in the south of Germany. After a while as a trainee, he became a professional editor and presenter. He used to work for several radio stations as a regular editor, before he had the chance to start his popular “B-Live Radio Show” at Radio sunshine live finally.
Aga Heller made a name for himself as a producer, too. He had a few own releases on several labels, but he had the biggest success so far with several remixes, for Nalin & Kane on Supra Recordings or Gadjo on Subliminal Records.
