About me:

Against The Grain has come along way since its inception back in 2005. Born from its previous shell; Xtreme Saturday Night and Midnight Metal, ATG landed on its feet running.

Originally led by JRR’s bad boy, Vegas, he expanded his musical landscape with the implementation of Punk Rock and more “outside the box” metal mentality. Vegas is responsible for everything you hear each Saturday night and the reason for Sauce Boss and Bones carrying on the ATG tradition. He has since stepped down as host to become a full time father, husband and overall badass.

Sauce Boss, with his promotional skills and key leadership, spawned a healthy desire to make every Saturday night flawless and smooth as possible. His desire to play heavy, melodic and out of the ordinary type of mayhem is unmatched. Sauce Boss is still running things today and will be for some time to come…

Nunnerz (AKA, tHe nUn), picked up the speed on becoming producer. He brought knowledge of the punk rock lifestyle, music, and news. Along with that, keeping up with the website, interviews, and myspace page, Nunnerz had his hands on everything including being one of ATG’s co-hosts. He has now moved to Atlanta with his fiancé and still maintains the ATG Myspace page on his days off…

Boner, known now as just Bones, has been a staple at Clear Channel for almost 7 years now. From those who know him personally can tell you that, if there is one person you call in times of Radio trouble its Bones…His talent behind the board and software could even give Bill Gates a run for his money. His love for Metal, Hard Rock and Chinese Anime has become a passion. Hence, why he is on ATG still to this day!

Against The Grain was created as an outlet for you the listener to break away from the ordinary dull and monotonous shit heard everyday of the week. That’s it, BOTTOM LINE…. And being a Punk, Metal, Hardcore kid/adult, its serves as a forum for those of you dying to get your voice heard via 100,000watts of corporate radio.

And to those of you out there saying that its not “punk rock” or “metal” to play it on terrestrial radio is pretty ignorant…..isnt it “punk rock” or “metal” TO play it on a terrestrial radio station?
