Tools Of Torture was born in late 2006 as a brutal/death band. The band is formed by Francesco Carmenini at guitars, Matteo "Tamoth" Viglietti at drums, Antonio D'Orazio at bass and Genobile at vocals.
Tools Of Torture recorded a 5 tracks promo cd in spring 2007 at Alien Recording Studio and thank to this promo cd they get a deal with Despise The Sun Records for a debut album.
In August 2008 the band recorded, again at Alien Recording Studio, "Faith - Purification - Execution", a 11 tracks' concept album about inquisition's tortures with a cover art by Phlegeton Studio (Avulsed, Katalepsy, Impure, Human Mincer and many more...).
On February 2009 the debut album was finally out on Despise The Sun Records and the band started to promote it with a massive live activity inside and outside Italy, playing also at Moscow Death Fest 2009 with bands like Defeated Sanity, Rompeprop, Amagortis and more.
Now Tools Of Torture is still promoting its debut album and, at the same time, is working on new Slamming THC Brutality tunes.
Hmmm, what type of tools, though? If tape, we will laugh at you. If wooden spoons used to smack, we will be moderately afraid. But, if pointing things and blade things we will stay away from you!

Ciao ritornati dal Gods of Metal dove abbiamo lasciato ben 4000 copie della nuova compilation "Invasione Totale Vol.3" andiamo avanti con la nostra stagione estiva. Il prossimo sabato 4 luglio 2009 nell'incantevole zona della cascine di Firenze, precisamente all'Ippodromo Le Mulina, suoneranno i rinnovati Dragonia, che da ormai un po' di tempo si sono presentati con una nuova veste e nuova strumentazione (mic ad archetto, chitarra 8 corde e keytar solo per dirne alcune) interpretando uno show molto avvincente.
