Hailing from the Salt Lake City, Utah, Agape is quietly becoming a powerful entity in the field of hip hop music. Seamlessly melding the ornate emotional and poetic lyrics with todays more progressive sounds, Agape credits Rap pioneers Slick Rick, Run-D.M.C. and Public Enemy, plus numerous Jazz, Salsa, Rock, Funk and Reggae legends as major influences.
Boris Jurosevic was born in Tuzla, Bosnia where today he is mostly known by Agape. But it all began about 6 years ago when Agape was bitten by the performance bug and later recorded his first song "Desetostruko". He skillfully fired up house parties and packed community centers in his own language as a hip hop artist. With a steady following, a teen continued to hone his craft and later became a member of Annex Records. In 2003, Agape and Shone ventured off and established their group together. Despite enthusiasm from their own studio a suitable recording contract never materialized. Agape and Shone patched things up where they recorded their first demo album "Unheard". Later on Agape continued solo as an artist where he recorded his first song "Ivona" in Annex Studio...
At present, Agape is focused squarely on the recording side of his first album "Ako Nada Umre" which should be finished at the end of the year."The production end has always been our biggest strength," says the team's quarterback Giles Reaves owner of Annex Studio. "We have been producing, composing, engineering and mixing music consistently for over 30 years which means we have been involved in thousands of songs". Currently Agape is working with "mixing and mastering" engineers Big Aaron, Giles and Robb. He currently colaborates with Gandra Beatz, Pero Mero and Dzoni. Apape's music is found from the early childhood problems while growing up through sad times in Bosnia..."Iznad zvjezde tuga je" video soon...
