The Agape International Choir, under the direction of Dr. Rickie Byars-Beckwith, is the core Music Ministry of the Agape International Spiritual Center.
People all over the world have shared how the Sound of Agape has helped them in their personal transformation. The key ingredient is simple and yet profound… they know how to love and you can feel their love in their music, in their speech and in their actions in the world.
The Agape International Choir has been honored to perform in such prestigious venues as Lincoln Center, the United Nations, the Greek Theatre, the John Anson Ford Theatre and the Getty Museum. The choir has been a featured guest performer for three of the World Festivals of Sacred Music held by the City of Los Angeles. Their songs, written by Dr. Rickie Byars Beckwith and Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, are known and sung all over the world and are a highlight of many diverse spiritual services and celebrations.
Musical Director Rickie Byars Beckwith's exceptional talents have brought her acclaim as a pioneer in contemporary spiritual music, while Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith is the visionary, founder and Spiritual Director of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City with a membership of approximately 9,000 members. Together, this dynamic couple travels extensively sharing their music and message of love and unity with the world. According to Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, taking a stand on love is our offering to the world and emerges as a pillar of the Agape movement.
