Agata has been taking up singing since her childhood. When she was a teenager she was taught singing by some teachers from Lodz. She was singing in the operetta chorus in Musical Theatre in Lodz for two years. After some time she went in for pop music. That time she met as mad as hatter composer of crazy electronic music - Zbyszek Werner.
In 1993 they founded a group called "Amiga" and recorded a pop dance cassette. But the project did not last long. In 1995 they changed their style again - they were both working for Lodz TV composing and performing (Zbyszek - piano, Agata - songs) in literary programmes. However, theirs souls were somewhere else.
In 1996 Agata and Zbyszek decided to create a pop dance project. Agata took a nickname "Mona" and soon her cassette appeared. It was titled "Mona". Then their concerts started. One of their songs went up to the Top 10 of Parada Radio Lodz.
In 1997 Agata appeared in "Become a star" programme. She won the competition and found herself among six winners of Polish edition of that programme. She was offered to take part in recording Robert Janson's songs and a song to a film with his music. Although Agata and Zbyszek had many proposals they were still working in the weat of their faces.
Next songs were created under the present name "Agata Werner" in a small Jasio Kwiatosinski studio. But the record did not appear though a single "Zobacz co za dzien" (eng. tr.: "Look what a day") recorded in 1998 became popular in some broadcasting stations.
A year later Agata started playing more and more concerts; break dance dancers joined the group (Agata was one of the first performers who had such a show during her own concert). In 2000 besides a great number of concerts all over Poland Agata would sing in the chorus for "Spoko" (a section of "Ich Troje"). She appeared in some well-known Tv programmes for TVN, TVP, TV4 and TMT stations.
In 2001 Agata and Zbyszek built their own small recording studio where they continued their job. Next singles came into being. The song "Najczulej" (eng. tr.: "The most tenderly") was broadcasted very often. The video clip of the composition "Razem wszyscy" (eng. tr.: "All together") was also very popular. Concert show started developing. Some musicians joined the group.
