Next to very few bands in the Seattle area, AGENT APATHY is a punk/ska band
making their way to the top of the ska scene, bringing it back to life. We are
comprised of members who believe whole heartedly in the importance of music with a message.
Unlike many new age, pop-punk ska bands, we don't write songs about our favorite fruit,
iguanas, fashion, and "funny stuff", we write music that we hope will make a difference,
and make people aware of political and social issues, ya know, so they don't grow up to
be the stereotypical American. Throwing in mixes of punk, ska, politics and rock and roll,
AGENT APATHY has quicky built up a fanbase in the northwest, playing uncountable gigs and opening
for great bands such as: U.S. Bombs, Against All Authority, The Aggrolites, Time Again, Love Equals Death, DOA, Authority Zero, The Phenomenauts, The God Awfuls, The Briefs, Blitz, Total Chaos, Aiden, Another Damn Disappointment, The Havoc, River City Rebels, Street Brats, and soon to be more. Some
of our greatest influences come from that crack rock steady beat: Choking Victim, Leftover Crack,
No Cash... to name others; Operation Ivy, Suicide Machines and NoFX.
We have many political/social issues and ideas we'd like to bring to light and we'd
like the chance to really give people something to enjoy, sing along to, learn from
and dance to. AGENT APATHY is all about the unity and building a strong community of people
that stand by one another and put aside differences like race, sex, ethnicity,
religious views and look out for one anothers best interest instead of their own.
