A4M is a booking agency located in Berlin, that under that name organises europe-wide concerts and tours for german and international artists since 2001. We see ourselves as service provider and link for our artists as well as our local promoters with whom we are effectively networking partly since numerous years. As eclectic as our personal musical taste is the stylistic variety of our artists we are placing. But they all have the superior quality in music and performance in common. Our customers benefit from our longtime experience and our profound knowledge of the music market as well as from our various partnerships with media, labels and agencies.

Artists:

For every artist we develop an individal strategy in order to achieve an optimum positioning in the music market, to advance his career and to specificly enlarge the operating range. And that means to sometimes strike a completely new path...

We offer assistance up to the management sector, actively support tour promotions and often even assume the tour management. With it we are closer to the artist and are able to direktly keep in touch with our promoters and know our clubs and festivals "at first hand".

Promoter:

We solely place artists and bands, who are endued with a high degree of originality and technical skills. We support promoters in developing of club and festival concepts, on demand we even compile entire line-ups or thematic concert tours. It is important to us, that events with our artists satisfy also the promoters! We adapt the local conditions and also prepare our artists to it. Under the name A4M three bookers work freelance, who can exceptionally focus on their particular artist and moreover benefit from their colective work at the music market.

History:

Founded in 1992 as AFRICAN DANCE RECORDS under the direction of Nick Willer ADR emerged as a constant factor in the range of Reggae and World music with wide connections to media, promoters and other record labels. Besides the production of the CDs the major task was to book gigs for the artists released on ADR (Hypnotix, Cashma Hoody, Kente, Makwerhu, Livin..Spirits ...). Later Artists were booked, that didn't publish their CDs on ADR. Thus Agents 4 Music / African Dance Records were the first pure reggae-booking-agency in Germany! But that didn't last very long, because soon it became clear that this niche constrains. The musical range was extended and in the following years A4M / ADR emerged to a constant factor in the agency scene. During these years one cooperated with artists like: Zion Train, Ferni Kuti, Alpha Blondy, Hypnotix, Cashma Hoody, Mutabor, Vitamin X, Sixth Revelation. George Darko, Penc, Mabulu, Livin Spirits and many more. In the end of 2003 on came to the decision to separate agency from label in order to pay more attention to the different fields of activities.
