Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.

We're giving away the farm! Let's see if Carlos can throw things to the audience with force. It's a signal of virility.

If you haven't seen this band yet, you MUST. So good. Boom singer Marisa's new favorite.

Pre amps and DAW? haha sorry i need a translation
Danny V

Mar 30 2009 1:36 AM

I may have to pirate that.
Does it record as well as doing sound editing? Hmm cool i will have to try that
Danny V

Mar 29 2009 6:29 PM

Yeah Im using it as an overhead, and there are two of them actually. I also have a snare mike and a kick mike set up too, so those sounds should be covered, im just having trouble with getting clear tom sound without having the cymbals crash away and ruin the mix.
what do you use post production software wise?
monstro

Mar 28 2009 4:45 PM

Hell yes! I'm so glad. Knocked my socks off. The gumballs? Did that little moment make a perfect picture in your mind, too? Maybe I should ask Leah, because I think it was the colors that did it.
Danny V

Mar 28 2009 3:43 AM

Haha word.
Hey recording questions, should condenser mikes be fairly far away from the drum set or not really?
