Influences	Since the band was founded in the beginning of 1999 they..ve enjoyed an ever increasing loyal following. Inspired by their positive feedback and their desire to accomplish more, AGE OF ORANGE recorded their first EP Many Melodies in January 2002. It was produced by Charly T., the former drummer of Westernhagen. With new vigour and eight hands full of ambition AGE OF ORANGE started touring intensively all over Germany. In 2003 the band was discovered by the former Toten Hosen drummer Wolfgang Wölli Rohde who decided to sign AGE OF ORANGE and to publish their first longplayer on GOLDENE ZEITEN RECORDS. The debut album “ATLANTIC” was produced in January 2006 by Uwe Sabirowsky (Beatsteaks, Thumb, Keith Caputo). Since then the band toured intensively and played top notch shows in front of more than three thousand people. Also they got the chance to share the stage with big German acts like Donots, EL*KE or such a Surge. In spring 2007 the band was invited to Malta where they played haedliner shows on festivals in Sliemma. At the moment AGE OF ORANGE are writing and recording their second album. It..s first single “The new life” will give you a taste of the orange sound. It is free for download now!
