Influences
80's hardcore, heavy metal, punk rock, reggae, ska, videogames, skateboarding, that god damn rock n roll, all the bands we've played / skated with, and the energy that our fans / friends have brought to our shows over the last few years. All these thing influence us. And we influence each other. Music is a means to express and to communicate, to reflect our surroundings, and share them with those who seek it. its the heart and sound of revolution. as well as and a way to bring people together. and that's the way we like it. It should be created by those who have an undying love for it, As well those not afraid to use thier music as a means of vebally attacking a world that wishes to silence its youth, Keeping it a threat... hopefully will influence all of you to get off you asses, real musical revolutions don't happen in you parents basements.

After a 2 year hiatus with long time friend NUKE, J. met Eddie after a bet with his brother Mook. (still unpaid of course!) J and Eddie fucked around making some way rad tunes and looked around for a bass player and singer. Eddie made some calls and got a hold of his long time friend Eric. Eric came to a practice and before you knew it they were making more tasty tunes. But were still in need of a voice. Then Eddie met with matt. He was on tether at the time so communication was by phone only. They finally met up with Matt in the summer of 2005 and togerther played the first song that A.O.D! ever colaberated on as a band. "Gutter Slut" And the band has been rolling hard ever since that day.
Not all was gravy in SK8 town as the band had lost Eric in the spring of 2006. Soon after they met with Danny Powers. A friend of Matts from 'On The Contrary'. Danny had the very intensity the band had been looking for. The band started playing a lot more. And finally started recording. In the late summer of 2007 the band met with Royce Nunley to record thier first 7 inch. Coming out alive! While it would take pages to explain why. The first 7 inch has a lasting meaning for the entire band. And they have remained focused ever since.
Danny soon left the band to pursue other interests and again left the band with no bass player. Determined to keep moving, AOD! played several shows with no bass, but soon Bob Gibson, guitar player for The Handme Downs, filled in for the spring and summer of 2008. With his band taking off it soon be came apparent he would not be able to be permanent, and so enter, Dan Bruce, mighty bearded brother of Matt Bruce. Dan came to the band with one goal. To fuck shit up! He fit right with AOD! and is now our permanent bass player. No matter what the future holds the band will always come out alive. Make no mistake about it. True raw energy and total honesty has made this band not only a show to see, but a show to feel! AOD! would set up its equipment right on the floor in the middle of the pit if they could!
Aggro or Die! gives it all every show. They don't hold back. They leave the stage sweat soaked, bruised, bloodied and ready to meet their fans!
