MySpace a place for friends

Agnas is a Cebu, Philippines based band which started out during the heydeys of 1994. First conceptualizd by Chummy and Chuck (of TSK! and the Abyss fame) with Nel and Vit, all of whom were High School buds and then went on to include Keryll (of TSK! and Smooth Friction fame) after Vit decided to quit the band. The band started out with small gigs ranging from Barrio Fiestas to Gym sized events covering tunes from Slayer, Gorefest, Benediction and Sepultura as part of the Screams of Cebu Underground Music (SCUM) production roster of bands. Recorded only two song demos of which only one survived, the track Darkness Cometh. The other track, Sick, Unwanted was doomed to oblivion. By the end of 1998 the band died a natural death due to Chuck and Keryll forming and focusing on TSK!TSK!TSK! and Chummy and Nel playing in other bands with revolving lineups. Resurrected in 2005 upon Chummy's impending return to Cebu soil from a 5 year absence (although he took part in putting up a black/thrash metal band Barabas in Cagayan de Oro at that time) together with Chuck again and recruiting Jerry and Kenny as a jam band covering tracks from fave death metal bands and part of the Cebu Extreme Metal Productions (CEMP) roster of bands.
