Agon started as a band in 2002 when Carles C., Dani A., Mireia F. and Xavi U. united as survivors of other bands. From their very beginnings demonstrated their original and personal way to understand the heavy metal music due to the different influences of the members.
They started with some covers and working hard to compose their own songs realizing that a new guitarist would be required. After passing some guitarist that doesn't share with the philosophy of the band, they resign with 4 formers. With this line-up they move in different gigs all over their land, and won some prizes in Lleida. In spring 2005 they enter the studio to record their first demo. It would be until 2006 that a new member, Sergi Rosselló, come to play the guitar and finally join to the band by own merits.
At the end of 2006, Xavi Ulled, who was our bass player, decided to leave the band. After several tests with other instrumentists, we decided that a new member, Abel Aranda, would join the band as our brand new 4-string player.
The sense of the name consists in a combination of the Latin word (agon) that means struggle or fight, sometimes to play our own metal music, in this country is not but a real struggle ....... We are a metal band, but not a heavy not a gothic even not a thrash or doom metal band...the meaning is yours...help us to define our own style!!

Hola! Pasamos por aquí para comentar algunas novedades referentes a la Nit Medieval-Folk:
FAUN ha anunciado que su actual cantante Lisa Pawelke dejará el grupo. Lisa hará su último concierto junto a FAUN en la Nit Medieval-Folk de Pallejà (Barcelona). Podéis leer el comunicado oficial en su web: www.faune.de
Desde Dark Music queremos desear todo lo mejor para Lisa y para Faun en esta nueva etapa.
Recordar que la Nit Medieval - Folk tendrá lugar el próximo 23 de febrero en la sala Pal•ladius de Pallejà(Barcelona).
Los grupos que actuarán junto a Faun serán The Moon and the Nightspirit (Medieval Folk de Hungría) y Fayrierie (Pagan Dark Folk de Barcelona, que contarán con la colaboración de Lady Nott y Sathorys del grupo Narsilion y Dani del grupo Lux Divina)
Recordar también que una vez finalizados los conciertos continuará la fiesta hasta las 4h con la mejor música dark ambient, pagan, medieval & folk.
