Well it all started out a very long time ago. I was 16 years old and needed a drummer for my band. Someone told me a guy called Tupper could play........little did i realise that he was actually Travis Barker in disguise! We struck up a strong musical partnership and have been great friends ever since! Many failed/university affected bands later , me and Tupper were in his garage jamming(as always) , when in walked an angel holding a bass guitar.........Actually it was our friend Johno, who happened to be an awsome bass player : - ). As for me.....I was given a fresh lease of life to write new and exciting songs , and with a very strong group friendship and musical understanding , A House Atlantic was born!
In late 2008 ex Traitor Born guitarist Alan Joined the band and 2009 promises to be a big year for us, we are gigging more than ever and starting to get media interest from the likes of Rhythm and Total Guitar magazines. Look out for our brand new double A side demo available soon.
And if you haven't seen us yet, come along to a show and see what all the fuss is about!
"Check out the UK's newest pop punk wonders
Rhythm discovered A House Atlantic just before Christmas and we were blown away by their drummer Tupper's flailing arms, bobbing head and warp speed rolls. He is, unsurprisingly, a Travis Barker fan.
"The first time I saw him play I was simply overwhelmed at his innovative rhythms and beats. I love his uniqueness" states Tupper, who started drumming after inheriting a vintage Rose Morris Kit from his Grandad.
The band is rapidly ascending the ladder with an infectious sound that harks of +44 and which Tupper describes as "a pop punk band with all the stereotypical pop punk stuff stripped away and replaced with melodic riffs".
With an exciting year ahead, what are Tupper’s aspirations?
"I would love to tour with Coheed and |Cambria...they are one of our biggest influences as a band".

"Guitarist: Steve Hunt and Alan Beesby
Who are they and what do they sound like?
TG was blown away by these pop punk hopefuls when they recently tore a local pub a new one. Travis Barker-inspired drummer Tupper is an aural treat but it’s the interplay between the band's axe duo that gives them the X-factor. Tele-driven melodies meld with driving riffs while the drums push forward from the rear. They have a likable resemblance to +44; we reckon Mark Hoppus and co would dig them.

Hello first and foremost thank you for the add, I hope you like the music. I like to make my comments stand out a little so it's not the same old band comment so I usually leave a different joke from a comedian I like and right now I'm feeling some Demetri Martin. Let's hope me typing it doesn't ruin the awesomeness of the joke.
"I like parties, but I don’t like piñatas because the pinata promotes violence against flamboyant animals. Hey, there’s a donkey with some pizzazz. Let’s kick its ass."
Hey guys, not sure we are playing that date anymore as we have a new drummer and we are still not ready to do a live show. Have a wicked gig though, cheers for the add Jakarta
Liking the new page boys, what a bunch of handsome men! Lol did you have to photoshop the pint out of Beesby's hand in all the photo's? I'm gonna miss the gig this week cause I'm on holiday but I'll be down for the Old Road 1
