I produce two concert series' in northern New Jersey. I present singer/songwriters who are professional and touring but 'usually' not nationally known. They are all independent artists and I would describe their music mainly as acoustic-pop.
One series takes place on the FIRST Saturday night of the month at the Watchung Arts Center and is called "Powerful Women of Song." http://www.watchungarts.org The other series takes place on the THIRD Saturday night of the month in Westfield and is called the Coffee With Conscience Concert Series. http://www.coffeewithconscience.org If you click through my friends you'll see many of the artists that I have already presented and quite a few that I hope to present someday.
Of the artists you may have actually heard of; I really love James Taylor, Sting, Elton John, Nora Jones, Harry Conick Jr. and John Mayer.

Television
I am a big fan of TiVo. I have it set to record about 20 shows a week. My current favorites are... Heros, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Boston Legal, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, ER, My name is Earl, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, Lost, Psych, and Stargate SG1.
Heroes
Smart & talented people who put their actions behind their words. Folks who are out there trying to change what they think is wrong!
About me: I grew up in Summit, NJ, moved out to California for college and stayed for a total of ten years before I moved back east to open my own Coffee Roastery. This coming February, my business will be old enough to DRIVE in the state of NJ. I can't believe that I've managed to stick to something that long!
I've never been married, but came pretty close a few times. I don't have any kids but hope to some day -- before it's too late. I guess I'm a bit picky now and really don't date much. I'm also a bit shy when it comes to innitiating something with a stranger, so, if you like my pic, write and I'll respond.
Hey .... Come to this concert! TPR is the greatest!

Who I'd like to meet: The mother of my children. Where are you, already?
I really don't want to be dating. I want to be in a long-term committed relationship. I like women who are both easy-going and driven. Does that exist? I also want someone who is somewhat politically aware (left of center!), non-religeous and can enjoy a steak dinner. Again ... does that exist? (I keep meeting delightful Vegetarians but that could never actually work.)
For fun ... I'd like to meet people who share my interests in independent music, movies and socializing. I guess there will be an extensive list of interests further down the line in my bio.
