I was born Feb 24 to two mds; I've always been unique. Song and music together have been the passion that drive my purpose...been blessed with gifts to express all that I hear and feel. Singing and piano playing have always been my first loves, first instruments and best friends. Classically trained under the Suzuki method of instruction; spent many years singing in classical ensembles and was vocally involved in operatic productions with the San Francisco Opera Company. Unable to deny my soulfulness, eventually I made moves to align my heart with my gifts. Prone to write in poetic prose, I thrive on self expression. When this is honored, I sing and play on the level. Words are the keys that give melody to my emotions about experiences. My music is soulful and original, moving liike a tsunami, affecting positive change through the colors of the chords of my compositions. It is raw silk on bare skin or cool sugarcane on a July night in Brooklyn. My voice has a texture, warmth and strength that touches listeners in their core and encourages them to unlock those places that need liberation. Breathe my creativity!
