Hey Aidy - great track!! Diod u have a good time? Amsrtewrdam is one big blur for me!! I'm in Cambridge allot more now, so let us know when your next playing, take Care, Tom
Hi 'Aidy' thanks for complimenting my track. I believe ive already commented prior to this, with regards to appriciation for your music. In answer to your question about us playing live, I'd like to attempt it possibly in the future, in the sense that the whole track is actually produced live. Currently our music is aimed at a personal level of interaction, Im not sure that at present theres a particular live audience that would recieve our music, although that could be my lack of knowledge. I'd like to aim possibly at live reprocation for years to come, however currently not possible.
P.s I can really hear the potential in your music for some kind of 'Huromoods' revamp, mix of somekind? You'll have to get back to me on that one?
really glad that you liked fish blues. do you think any of your friends might enjoy our songs too? if so, it'd be great if you could spread the word for us...
we perform our own comedy music show called bark, which we're starting to get a few bookings for, and we have a cd out of the same name. we performed the show originally at the bury st edmunds fringe festival in may 2007, and then we sung three of the songs at wivenhoe may festival. lots of great feedback from each event! at the moment we have another festival booking (should be ~500 people) in july and then an august night at cafe rouge in bury st edmunds - both of these are the full bark show.
We have a BIG FAVOUR TO ASK YOU in the name of Bowfinger!!!
The Isle of Jersey is hosting their largest music festival in September - JerseyLive. They've accepted our application to get Bowfinger playing on one of the stages there.
IT WOULD BE REALLY GREAT IF YOU COULD HELP US.
We have a huge fighting chance of achieving this with your rate.
Once your registration has been accepted, search for Bowfinger (genre Punk even though its not!) & then rate us by double clicking the appropriate ratings number.
It is down to you as to how much you rate our stuff, it goes from 0.5 - 5, one of our tracks Wishing What Your Hoping For is uploaded for your listening pleasure & almighty jurisdiction..... all rates will be ace, the full five would be awesome naturally!
The closing date to vote is March 31. Thanks so much for your help in this, I appreciate you at least reading. Will keep you posted.
thank you very much! I did see you in the crowd once I had the courage to look around at the people there. I'm going to try and make it to the portland gig on the 31st if one of my kind friends fancies a night out in cambridge :o)
Another in our occasional series of Sunday afternoon Danny's Bar gigs
It's March!!! And we are playing our first headline gig since the Beatles Night. It's this Sunday (11th March) at Danny's Bar, Esquires, Bedford UK. Support comes from The Inspiration and it all kicks off at 5pm. What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon?
Hey Aidy, Sorry I missed your last message - just recovering from brain surgery! The girls in the pic is my mate Nikki and another Cabin Crew girlie (Claire) who hung out with us in San Fean. Keep us updated on your gigs - I think my next cambridge night willl be this fri or sat. Take Care
Thanks Aidy,
Aghh Lemon Juice, so often forgotten and pushed aside by new material....
As I mentioned, I now run The Glass Onion Music & Arts Community Centre in Peterborough (www.muddy.org.uk). If you fancy an acoustic style gig there then do let me know?
Peace
Moony
Hey Old Timer! How's it going? Just a quick one to lett ya know i'm in Cambridge allot at moment - so if your playing anywhere let us knowm, or just catch up for a beer. Take Care, Tom
Hi. At the tail end of 2006 (Sat 30th Dec to be precise) we are putting on a very special night at Esquires, Bedford, UK... The Bowfinger Beatles Night! 4 great bands - Bowfinger, Fruition, Portion and The New Town Centres - who between them will be giving at least 12 Beatles classics their own personal makeover, as well as playing choice selections from their own repertoire. And as if that is not enough... Melting Pot DJs Monkey T and Dr Gonzo will be playing all the best in Beatles and 60s tunes. Hope you can come...
Hi. We are playing a headline gig at Esquires, Bromham Road, Bedford on Saturday 28th October. Support comes from The Dogs from Germany. Also supporting is Rate Of The Day and Jumpsuit Collective. It's 5 to get in and that includes admission to the after gig club night downstairs too. Bargain.
Go here or here for more info. Go here to find out how to get there. Hope you can come.
