Discovering the mysteries of the universe and developing a deep understanding of humanity thru MySpace and "The Internets."
Music
Too much. The list could go on and on. Recently I've been listening to a lot of The Kinks and Ray Davies stuff (well I usually do), Buzzcocks, The Primitives, Concrete Blonde, JAMC (always), Herbie Hancock, Laurie Anderson. As far as more recent bands and whatnot, I'm not all that well versed and/or interested, with a few exceptions. Also, I occaisonally enjoy making my own music, although less than I used to, I'll usually do something every month or so...
Movies
Mostly into talkies but I'm willing to cut Buster Keaton a break every once in a while as well. I especially like anything by Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Woody Allen, David Lynch, Billy Wilder, and I'm sure other great directors I've forgotten. Other films that come to mind are Rubin and Ed, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Amelie, Citizen Kane (doh! forgot Orson Welles), anything with Peter Sellers, almost anything with Tracey Ullman, The Princess Bride, Monty Python movies, all the Muppet movies, Star Wars movies, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy (also enjoy Jackson's earlier, more bizarre stuff like Meet the Feebles), any Miyazaki films, The Jerk, and many, many more. I also like to make movies of my own and/or help others make movies (no, not porn)...
Television
Dr. Who, Torchwood, Lost, anything with Chris Morris (Brass Eye is awesome in particular, and if you don't agree you're wrong and you're a grotesquely ugly freak, thanks), The IT Crowd, Horizon documentary series, SG Atlantis, Survivors (the 70s Terry Nation show, not the reality one), Avengers (New Avengers had moments too), The Prisoner, The Last Detective, a lot of the HBO shows of the past (Mr. Show, Sopranos, Six Feet Under come to mind), Bullshit!, "the news," etc. etc. I could go on...
Books
I like books, but they're sooo overrated. What I don't understand is, what's up with all these book stores that don't carry videos? Get with the times, people!
Heroes
It's difficult to say. I could list a lot of people I greatly admire and possibly borderline idolize (for their moral virtues, etc.), but I don't know where the list would end.
Villains
This is a lot easier, but again I'm not sure where the list would end. But for starters, Hitler, Mussolini, Anne Coulter (haha, maybe not in the same class as the formers, but still an awful person), etc...
