DJ Ailfenergy (real name Andrey) is one of the youngest and most talented trance & progressive dj’s and producers in Latvia. He started his career in 2006 in the age of 15. Since that time he became very popular among trance listeners in Latvia. He played at many parties and clubs, such as: ‘Club 16.Korpuss’(Riga), ‘Pulse’(Riga), ‘KGB’(Daugavpils), ‘Banzai’(Daugavpils), and many more trance music parties and famous Daugavpils underground ‘Rave’ parties. Ailfenergy is a part of promotion groups ‘trance.lv’, ‘deejay.lv’ and ‘Digital Mind’. Also Andrey Ailfenergy is a resident dj of worldwide web radio station – PureSound.fm.
In music producing Ailfenergy co-operated his forces with another Latvian trance dj – MX. They together created a new project and promotion group called ‘Digital Mind’. The project keeps working and creating the new sounds.
Although Ailfenergy is a trance dj, he widely use tech and electro sounds in his mixes, which makes his sounds absolutely unique. His main style is called ‘Electrance’ (Electro-Trance) by himself. You can also find the sounds of progressive trance, progressive and tech house in his sets.
In May of 2007 Ailfenergy started to broadcast his own radio-show, called ‘Global Friday’ on radio Trance.LV. The show had a great popularity among trance music listeners in Latvia. That’s why one year later, in May 2008, ‘Global Friday’ moved to PureSound.fm to involve new listeners around the world. ‘Global Friday’ is supported by many famous and well-known dj’s around the world, who sent the guestmix to Ailfenergy. Here they are: Sean Tyas, Randy Boyer (Enmass), Eddie Sender, Niels van Gogh, Super8 & Tab, Andy Moor, Marcel Woods, EDX, Wippenberg, Bart Claessen, Ronski Speed and many more.
Except his own radio-show, Ailfenergy also played many guest mixes in other Latvian and abroad radio-shows. He also was a part of project ‘Latvia in the Mix’ which was broadcasted ..hours.fm.
‘Let the sound take control of you’, - is the motto of Ailfenergy.
