So many... Anyone that writes, plays or sings with sincere passion.....The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Shawn Colvin, Melissa Etheridge, James Taylor, Olivia Newton-John, Carole King, Jann Arden, Kim Hill, Wynonna, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Bonnie Raitt, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt (got to meet her this summer! She was SO SWEET!) and Eva Cassidy's voice melts my heart.

I grew up in a small town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Music has always been a constant in my life - I can’t imagine how I would have survived without it. My mother said I used to sing "Country Roads" by John Denver in my sleep when I was in kindergarten!
Music and theater were always a focus for me. I studied in New Zealand during high school and it was wonderful being exposed to music from the UK, NZ and Australia. I always loved to sing, but I began songwriting and playing the guitar while attending college at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Following graduation, I moved to Orlando, Florida and worked in tv/film production for many years at Universal Studios, Nickelodeon & Disney. I really enjoyed working in production, but I always had a strong desire to make a difference in the world, so.... I decided to completely change gears and I became a social worker. I worked with children in foster care for several years and I truly will never be the same. The children I was fortunate enough to spend my days with will always be a part of my heart.
I had visited Nashville several times over the years and every time I felt as if I were really "home." So I finally made the big move 2 years ago (I can’t believe it’s been that long already!) I do have a day job and I am fortunate to work for a well known guitar company, but I am also finally concentrating on developing my skills as a singer/songwriter. I guess that "Country Road" finally led me "home."
Please listen to the music and feel free to send comments!
