When Airdrop was founded in 2006, the labels’ mission was clear: to drop some delectable, danceable high quality releases produced by cutting-edge audio and visual artists. Airdrop drives new talents through maturation and further supports established musicians from all around the globe. Bridging the often-too-wide gap between the Northern and Southern parts of the American continent, Airdrop creates record releases that have Argentine and US artists come together.
With a great love and respect for the vinyl recording format, yet enhancing the modern means of digital distribution and new technology, the airborne combat plan was to frequently release new sounding music, leaving the inhabitants of this planet’s dance hubs gagging for more.
The founders, hailing from France but now based in Buenos Aires and New York, are very receptive to international movements, and eager to impassionately relay the vibes of the limitless scene that is electronic music and avant-garde indietronic.
