LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

Hey Guys! (And HOT-N-WILD Snowboarder Chicas as well, OF COURSE!) 
So ok, this is Eric at Airstoke here; I'm the creator behind the scenes here at Airstoke.  I've been snowboarding since, well, a dang long time, around 15+ years...  My hometown hill is Pomerelle Ski Resort, near Burley/Rupert/Declo/Twin Falls Area in IDAHO... Land of Potatoes, Sagebrush, "Moving Pipe," and Mountains!! [my grandpa James Vajgrt was best friends with a Jarolimek, the man who built the SAGE-BRUSH CLEARING machine, back in the HOMESTEADER DAYS! BTW!]   Rupert Idaho, That's where I grew up! I sure thought it was the PO-DUNKENIST town in the whole world while I was growing up!!! You can't appreciate places like that so much while you're a teenager... And maybe it still is as po-dunkin' as ever, but I don't know what it is, I sure wouldn't mind going back, as long as I lived on the HILL that is... Aw heck though, I don't have to re-live the glory days! I hear Mt. Hood is really the sikkest, and there's always Mammoth down here as well! BUT ANYWAYS, Pomerelle was where many a pint of blood was spilt learning to board!  My crazy-ass homies had me trying to pull back flips on like, my FIRST FRICKING DAY OUT!!!  I was a crazy ass fool too back then, and kept trying until I finally landed my first one, and the rest as they say, is HISTORY!  That might have TRULY been the birth of "Airstoke" for me right there...

My current home-hill is at Big Bear!  However, I haven't been on the mountain yet, I only recently moved to Cali.  I'm totally stoked to hit that hill though!!  SO many badass boarders ride there!!  I hear a lot of pros kick it there...

 

I'm also an illustrator at heart, I've been drawing since I was a little strapper...  I do all the designs for Airstoke, and I love it!!  There are also various other art works and creative projects that I'm a part of... BUT ANYWAYS, YEAH, That's kind of how this company got going, my friends and I would go boarding, and afterward me an artist homie, Ted Bradshaw of Rockstar Game Studios, (yes the twisted grandma-lady killing MOFOS that brought you Grand Theft Auto; can you BELIEVE they think they're going to turn the gaming world on it's ear with a fricking table tennis ping pong game!?!? Maybe they WILL! The verdict is still out! I don't feel it sweeping the nation... yet... still waiting.... yawn... shizar, they had my homie working on that game for too dang LONG!!! Two or three years!!! I hope it becomes a HIT!!! Go BUY it TODAY!!!!!!!!) So ANYWAYS, my homie Ted and I, well, we'd draw up a storm and kick it and play video games.  We'd dream about turning the world on it's ear; dream about becoming Disney animators; dream about becoming professional snowboarders... We'd have a cup of hot cocoa, or beer and cigars in the hot tub after riding all day and draw snowboarders and shite...

 

So now I'm a grown man, I'm up and trying to make a living doing what I love, drawing, snowboarding, illustrating, designing, YOU NAME IT, I'm doing it here...  Web design, web mastering, sheeeeesh!!!!!!!!!  The list goes on and on!!!  We sure could use a little good will and a hand at getting the word out on this thing!

 

Thank you SO SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!!! I don't have the enormous budget that the top-dog zillionaires have, I really could use a sik sik WORD OF MOUTH CAMPAIGN going here...  I'm not some kind of sell out, I'm just a hometown snowboarder guy who's out here kicking ass to try to make an honest living!  I really do appreciate any good-will and help that you might extend!   THANKS AGAIN!!!
