Aisling
Rock act Aisling from El Paso, Texas fuels fiery energy and attitude into their rock sound, which earns fans everywhere the music is heard. It’s a passionate release of human energy translated into music, which translates into pure entertainment for the audience.
Outlet
Music is a way of channeling all the emotions pent up inside, both good and bad. “Music is an outlet for sadness, aggression and sometimes even happiness. It allows us to release a part of us that’s on the inside that most people can never let go of.” Rock is catharsis via entertainment and this is especially true in the case of Aisling, a band whose emotive power is rivaled only by its ability to generate a vibe of truly good times.
Sculpting
Music is self-powerful but also allows itself to be shaped by the artist’s hands. A great artist can make beautiful audio sculptures from the raw material of music. “Music can be whatever you make it. It is an escape into our own minds.” If music is indeed audio artwork, then a museum will one day be erected that includes the works of Aisling.
Life
As with most great artists, it is the very essence of life itself that offers up its riches. Personal experience should never be underestimated as a source of artistic inspiration. “Life influences me. Hearing a great song that makes you feel what the artist felt when he first wrote the song is inspirational.” This conveyance of emotion is exactly what music is all about and Aisling is a master of the craft.
Accomplishments
Aisling has shared the stage with the likes of Sevendust, Dredg, Codeseven, Suicidal Tendencies, Pitchshifter, The Panic Division, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Gravity Kills, L7, Strata, Puya, Hatebreed, Papa Roach, B-Real of Cypress Hill and has performed alongside The Long Beach Dub All Stars on MTV’s Caffeine Tour. Aisling has even opened for 80s metal god W.A.S.P. A Texas tour, followed by a “fly-by” in Southern California is planned. Aisling has just released “The Muse, The Martyr and Those Who Lived to Talk About It.” The band is currently working with A&R Select, the leading A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
“Estrella” would be the first official release which showcased the first music written as a band. Following would be several EP’s which led up to a venture to Los Angeles, CA in the summer of 2004 to record an EP titled “Enemies Come In Waves” with producer Steve Kravac who has worked with artists Blink 182, Tsunami Bomb, MXPX, Pepper, and Less Than Jake to name a few. Followed by a showcase in 2005 in Hollywood, CA for record labels Capitol Records, Wind Up Records, Atlantic Records, Universal Records and atleast a dozen more.
Review
“Aisling’s music is a fist to complacency in the rock industry.” – A&R Select

Australian Artists for Autism thanks you for your support. As we approach a federal election in Australia lets not forget the role artists can play in bringing issues to the forefront through their work. Autism is diagnosed in 1/160 people yet there is still no federal approach to the lifelong support needed by people with autism spectrum disorder. Help us to continue to raise awareness during this critical period. Thank you AAfA
