Sokira Tanec
Harnas Andrij, This is for you.
Although this is not one of our best performances I am proud of it because we did it in the pouring, freezing, rain. Our good freinds at the 2008 Polish Piknik took great care of us with great food. If any of you get European television our performance, including the Women, can be seen on Polish News as the interviewers were there and asked our O.K. for image release.

Oh, it's ok, brata, I know we all have busy schedules and everything. But haha wow that tree screaming tradition is so funny
Well I think I mentioned a little about it a while ago, we've got a tradition where we give a present to the first person to visit our house (representative of a wise man) and we have another tradition where our priest will bless a tree, then we burn it in a bon fire, kind of like a yule log.
haha I'm not sure what you mean by the screaming at trees, but we do the "chaining the family..." part... are you talking about the mothers', fathers', and children's days the first 3 Sundays before Christmas? And please explain the screaming at trees part!
We cut down a badnjak (Yule log) and everyone takes a branch to their house. Then we burn what's left lol Traditionally, children leave their shoes out and find oranges and candy in them the next day. The first visitor to any household in the morning (Elaznik) is reperesentative of one of the wise mean, and is given a gift. I'm sure we have traditional foods that are served on Bozic (Christmas) and the night before, I just don't know what they are. There's a few other traditions, too.
We actually don't celebrate until Jan 7, how about you?
And of course, we greet each other with "Hristos se rodi!" (Christ is born!) and return the greeting with "Vajistinu se rodi!" (Indeed he is born!). Do you do stuff like that?
