Sounds Like
Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell had a love child with the Red Hot Chili Peppers whilst headbanging in South Africa.
Iron Maiden to a dance groove??? YES- believe it or not!! Just goes to show (at least IMHO) that the songwriting is what really counts and that a great song can transcend musical styles. The idea behind this remix was to connect to the kids in the clubs and slip them a healthy dose of Maiden before they knew what hit them! Many thanks to James and Jeremy who created this video.

Critically acclaimed and award-winning rock vocalist Aja Kim has the kind of resume that most musicians in the highly competitive Los Angeles music scene would kill for. This former Philadelphian and black belt in the martial art of Shotokan karate has won the respect and admiration of the many world-class musicians she has worked with, not only for her electrifying stage performances but also for her songwriting and artistry.
As a successful freelance vocalist, her voice has appeared on numerous television and radio commercials and TV theme songs and as a writer her songs in films for HBO. With that, as well as writing, recording and touring with the likes of rock and roll sax man Clarence Clemons (of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street band) and legendary Tower of Power guitarist, Bruce Conte – to playing to packed houses around the globe in the role of Bruce “LEE” Chickinson (from 2004-2008 with the internationally known all female tribute, The Iron Maidens), Aja Kim has firmly established her well-deserved reputation as a charismatic vocalist and a performer of rare distinction in today’s music world.
Currently, Aja is collaborating on songs with Motörhead guitarist, Phil Campbell for his future solo release, as well as writing and recording for her second as yet untitled solo CD.
Aja has also recorded and/or appeared on stage with:
Motorhead, Phil Campbell, Carlos Guitarlos, Solomon Burke, Rocco Prestia, Kevin Cronin (REO Speedwagon), Wilma Palma and more....
