Ajavu plays the music of Steely Dan down to the note. We are a tribute band from the San Francisco Bay Area, and play all over Northern California. We have had the pleasure of playing and/or opening for bands like The Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money, Greg Rolie from Santana, The Ford Brothers, and Greg Kihn. We are the Original Last Band Standing on the 98.5 KFOX Greg Kihn Show which we won two years in a row! We've had great success since then with kick ass shows and amazing Steely Dan fans! Long Live The Dan Through Their FANS!!
Cousin Dupree:
We Sound like STEELY DAN! And have a couple awesome fans. Check out our fan feedback brought to you straight from our webstie:
I've got to tell all of the Steely Dan/ Aja Vu fans out there that this is the band to see. We saw them at Cache Creek and they were on top of their game as always. Never a disappointment, they always deliver the goods. Thanks Jim and Ron for the chat after and Jim for the little gift. It is AWESOME!! People, go see this band. Put your support behind them. They are great musicians and more then that they are very friendly people. I will see them everytime they are near my area and I will bring more people to spread the word. They are by far the best!!!

We recently heard you play at the Little Fox Theater last Friday night. What a great show you all do! The music was superb and the vocals tight. Robyn is a wonderful addition to Aja Vu or any band for that matter. We really enjoyed the setlist,(although I.G.Y. would have been nice) and you covered some of our favorite S.D. songs. I saw a similar group in San Diego about 10 years ago called Steely Damned made up of members of several local bands. You have a much better sound with fewer personnel (they had 13). We look forward to seeing you at the Main Street Brewery in March. Play more dates! We'll show up & tell our friends! Tory wants to know when you'll unveil "Dirty Work". All the best!

Just wanted to let you all know how well you all did at this "Gig" (Don Quixotes , January 21,06)The place was dancing from the very first song! Great Job! "Robyn" you are a gentle "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing"! After hearing you sing "Heard it through the Grapevine"!This is just a great "Stepping Stone" for you! Look forward to the Fox and Brewery! ps . . . One possible new track! Donald Fagens (Kamakiriad Album . . . Song . . Countermoon!)We think the band could do a fantastic job at this!
