AJ is a Singer/songwriter from New York playing acoustic rock. Check out his tracks off his recently completed US demo!
AJ began performing professionally at a very young age. When he was just 8 years old, he began an off-Broadway career that took him from ensemble rolls to a starring roll in the Classic hit Oliver!. After raving reviews and an offer at Broadway fame, AJ settled into a rural upbringing that lead him right back to performing.
Although he had composed his first song at the age of nine, AJ started seriously writing and performing at seventeen in Northern New York. In his first year of college, AJ joined with a group of musicians that would play venues up and down the east coast of the US and around England throughout the next four years. Although the group achieved a high degree of success including opening for such acts as Nine Days and Our Lady Peace, they disbanded after college.
After graduating from University, AJ decided to pursue a solo career as a singer/songwriter. With just his guitar and a few possessions, AJ began a season in his career that would bring him much success and a loyal fan base. He played a slew of venues in several states throughout 2003 until he embarked on a year long tour of England where he played his way to venues such as the Cavern Club and even earned a spot at the world famous Waterloo Festival.
He returned to the United States at the end of 2004 to begin work on his long awaited full-scale demo CD. The demo includes twleve original pieces that AJ not only wrote and performed on the project, but also produced.
Since landing back in the states, AJ has recorded/produced over 30 musicians in the upstate NY area at the recording studio he co-owns. Now AJ is focussing on not only song solicitation with his production company Stone Gate Productions, but also performance consultation. AJ is using his vast experience to help further others pursuit of excellence.
