I know we don’t know each other very well but I don’t know what else to do but ask for help.
My niece, Khloe is 8 days old and she hasn’t been able to leave the hospital yet because when she was born she was having trouble breathing. They had to put her on a breathing machine. After running some tests they found out that some organs near her lungs didn’t develop right and she couldn’t breath on her own. They had her on 100% Oxygen. My sister hasn’t even been able to hold her, no one can hold her or even touch her or her oxygen level goes down.
Before she was born they knew she had a heart problem. She has a hole in her heart and she is missing a valve. When Khloe was 2 days old the doctors didn’t think she was going to make it and they had my sister say her last goodbyes to Khloe but she proved them wrong and she pulled threw.
The original plan was to do open heart surgery on her once she was born to fix the problems.. But then they found out about her lungs and they have to put the heart surgery on hold until she is stable enough.
Today they took her off the breathing machine for an hour the doctors didn’t think she could do it but once again she proved them wrong, she was doing very well, she kept her oxygen level in the 94-100 range all on her own. They put her back on the oxygen machine just in case but now it is only 60% oxygen.
Once she can breath on her own all the time they are going to transport her to New York City to do lung and heart surgery.
So, what I am asking from you is to pray. Pray for my baby niece to get better.
I have some picture of her in my album, but they are only picture that my sister has sent me. I hope to meet my niece very soon!
