My influences in music are quite vast but I can never seem to get soulful and beautiful voices out of my head. My inspirations are Maxwell. Connor Reeves, Brian Mcnight, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Lemar, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Bebe Winans, Luther Vandross, Donnie, Anastasia, Aretha Franklin, the list is endless..... But I also love a bit of the funky side like Justin Timberlake and Jamiraqui...
AJ was born in London and has had a vast career as a performer. He has always strived to be a recording artist and is currently working on original material. AJ began his career as a lead singer in a soul band and performed with the pop choir En-Masse as one of their lead vocalists. He is featured on the Club Susu-Get Lifted Compilation Album and has recorded for various producers and released dance hits on independant labels.
He has starred in many shows incuding Fame, Babes In Arms, The Real Monty Comes Again, Aladdin, Soul Train, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wonder of Stevie, The official tribute to the Blues Brothers, Show Boat(Royal Albert Hall) and Mass Carib(Opera). AJ spends most of his spare time writing songs and is always up for collaborations with other artists/producers. AJ was recently in the new musical version of Porgy and Bess, directed by trevor Nunn and also appeared singing in an ident for Soapstar/Superstar,ITV1. He played Lionel Richie and then Smokey Robinson in the Hit West end show ’Dancing in the streets’at the Playhouse Theatre, London. At the moment AJ is one of the lead singers in the new show ’Thriller Live,’ a new musical celebrating the music of Michael Jackson!

I've seen you on Thriller live in Amsterdam last saturday and I think it was wonderfull. It was slightly different from the show I have seen in london in '06 but I still think it was absolutely amazing. Second off all... You've got one of the most beautifull voices I've ever heard :)
