Music
I like all sorts of music. I can be rather eclectic in my tastes. I'm particularly motivated by praise and worship music. If you care to see a few of my favorite songs (that have meaning in my life), click on the profile song history button on the player above.
Movies
I have an extensive movie collection but in the past year have tended toward reading more than I watch movies.
Television
I just bought cable with hundreds of channels and high definition and a digital video recorder. A month later, the DVR is filled with shows I wanted to record and to date, I've logged only a couple of hours of total viewing time. I'm not really a TV person.
Books
I read an average of 2 to 3 books per week on all sorts of topics with a particular emphasis on spirituality, philosophy, business, computer topics and finance.
Heroes
Jesus - for his ultimate sacrifice. The Family Church staff and congregation for their desire to just love people and for the unconditional love and acceptance they have shown me.
About me: I'm not sure the best practice is to care what people would say about themselves. Anything I write here would describe who I want you to think I am or who I want to be rather than who I actually am. It would very likely mislead you, no matter how unintentional that would be. What is far more important than what I say to describe myself is how other's would describe me.
I've learned an extremely difficult life lesson. Those who have hurt me the most were those who described themselves as honest, caring, committed, compassionate, hard working, etc. The truth turned out to be far different than the way they describe themselves. A person who lives up to those descriptors need not tell others because it is evident in every aspect of their life.
Stick around a bit and get to know me and you'll learn far more about me than any words could convey to you here.
Who I'd like to meet: I was only able to write this section by describing all the things I want the person I'd like to meet to not be like. I figured that wasn't particularly constructive so I'm ommitting it for the time being.
And a comment for you as well! WHY?!! Why Why Why!! Why you didn't say you and Nikki were having a girl! I am so excited. Go read my comment on her latest blog....
When I saw your comment, I realized how long it's been since our last interaction on MySpace. It seems like its been a life time!
I did have a blast! Things are starting to pick up rather quickly here, CEO Space really changed my life all the way around. My house is not even messy anymore! :-D
I just want to shout it from the roof tops and let everyone know just how much I love you. I can't tell you how happy you make me. I am so blessed to call you my husband. We work so well together as a team. You are truly amazing. I look forward to many years of happiness with you.
I cannot express the love that I have for you. It runs so deep. I expect great things to come from the situations we are currently facing. I know we will certainly come out of it stronger as a couple. I love you. I wouldn't want to walk this with anyone else.
