Well this is where I have to give alot of credit to my dad because I remember driving around with him at the early age of three sitting in my car seat in his old Riviera we nicknamed "Gino" as he talked on his car phone listening to Dion and the Belmonts, Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs, Johnny Rivers, Ritchie Valens, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash and of course his favorite Elvis Presley. Actually, we still drive around and listen to the same music the only thing that has changed is Gino is no longer in the picture! but it just made me realize now as I start to make my own music that I so appreciate that time with my dad because I feel as if I was able to bring those influences to my own music. There are also alot of other great artists that I am inspired by from a range of different genres such as Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Etta James, Miranda Lambert,Faith Hill, Coldplay, Jason Mraz, The Eagles,Prince,U2, The Rolling Stones, Don Henley,Amy Winehouse, , Scissor Sisters...I'll stop there!
