| Music | Whatever is playing. Love music and always have a tune going through my head. | | Movies | I don't usually sit and actually watch a movie. I'm usually on the computer, chatting or scrapping or editing photos while a movie plays. If I get a choice, I'll choose an action movie over a comedy or romance any time. Love movies like National Treasure, Indiana Jones, SWAT, Basic, The General's Daughter. | | Television | I just keep finding more and more shows I like, thanks to the DVR. I wasn't a huge TV watcher, but now I can't miss Lost (currently watching the first 3 seasons since I missed them), Ghost Hunters, Ace of Cakes, Next Food Network Star, So You Think You Can Dance, and all the versions of CSI. | | Books | Oh man, do I love to read. I'll read anything by Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton, Jonathan Kellerman, Nora Roberts, Stephen White, love the Lucas Davenport series by John Sandford, and Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme books. I pretty much own everything these authors have written. I also love the Harry Potter series. My all time favorite book is "The Stand" by Stephen King. I first read it when I was 14 or so and try to reread it every year. |

About me:
Hey, I'm Kim. Almost 38, although I feel much younger in spirit. I've been married to Dan almost 18 years, and hey, I still like him. He makes me laugh, and that's a gift. We have 3 children -- Brady is 14, Mykiah is 12 and Chesney is 8. I also have a Chihuahua mix I adore. His name is Hayden and he's truly my shadow.
Nine months of the year, I teach special education at the local elementary school. I work in integrated prekindergarten classrooms, helping to provide extra support for those little ones who need it.
When I'm not working, I have a couple of hobbies that keep me busy... love to take photos and digital scrapbook. I'm pretty sure those are tied together, and I'm not sure which came first, but I love to do both. I'm also an avid reader and always have a book in progress.
My family loves to travel. Disney and Branson are our two favorite places, and this is a Branson year. We just got home from our 2nd trip of 2008, and plan to take at least two more trips this year. We love the tree covered "mountains", the quiet of the woods, the glitter of the strip. While we love going to the theme and water parks in the area, we also have a list of shows we see every time we go. It's our second home and it seems the weeks we're home are all spent counting down to our next trip.
