Petite Torment's Interests
|
| General |
I love the beach! We seem to live there in the hot months. If you didn't know, that's 99% of the time here in south florida. I like to camp, wish we did more of it.
I spend alot of time at home and in bed. I've gotten chronic migrains since the age of 9. Yuck....not so fun. So I have alot of medication flowing through these veins. Makes me really tired. So I really enjoy the time I do get to spend with my family, at the beach or just enjoying the things I love. This really isn't that often.
Pets are a HUGE part of my life. You name it and we just might have it. Most of what we have is a rescue. I think that out of the 100 some animals that we have, only a few were bought. Treat your animals as you would your family. They should be with you for life, not just for now!
 | | Music | I was born a country girl, and will DIE a country girl! | | Books | I love books! Someday I plan on getting one of my own published. I have a children's book in the works, now if I can convince my sister to illustrate it for me ;). I'll read just about anything(almost anything). Count on most of the time it being some fiction author no one else has heard of. Some of my favorite are Loraine Despres,Karin Gillespie,Sheri Reynolds, Rebecca Wells, Charlaine Harris, Michael Lee West, Katie MacAlister, Michelle Rowen and Deborah LeBlanc. We can't forget The Tao of Pooh by Benjamine Hoff. I'm never without a book in hand...
Anyone with any suggestions, please, send them my way.
Just finished reading list(It will be added to): Sweet Dream Baby, by Sterling Watson. I enjoyed it alot. If you like to read, you should give it a chance. I also just finished Revenge Gifts, by Cindy Cruciger, that was really good, I'm waiting for the next one! I also finished up Girls Guide to Witchcraft(this was fiction), by Mindy L. Klasky, and am awaiting the next one too. Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer was excellent I have New Moon in hand now(follow up)This too was wonderful!Enchanted, Inc. by Shanna Swendson, and Once upon Stilletos, are so good. Anything, by Yasmine Galenorn. I love her Tea Shop Mysteries. Ghost Moon, by Karen Robards. Neecey's Lullaby, Cris Burks. Sweetwater Bride, by Pamela Morsi. Meely LaBauve, by Ken Wells. The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio, by Terry Ryan was a very good Non-Ficion read. I don't normaly read non-fiction, but this one was worth it. Rennie's Way, by Verna Mae Slone, another good read. Yeah, I have read some really bad books, I just haven't come across any recently. :) Tall, Dark & Dead, By Tate Hallaway was a fun, fast read-Vampire, witch mix. Thanks Gypsy. On Agate Hill, by Lee Smith, was a good read-Lee Smith hasn't failed me yet. What's a Ghoul to Do?, by Victoria Lauria was a great starter in a new series, can't wait for the next ones! The Sweet Potato Queens' 1st Big-Ass Novel(Stuff we didn't actually do, but could have, and may yet.), By Jill Conner Browne with Karin Gillespie-I loved it! I would love to meet these two ladies. Jill Conner Browne is an excellent writter and so funny. Just finished Break No Bones, if you've never read anything by Kathy Reichs, your missing out. I've been following her since she first wrote Deja Dead and stumbled across that one. Is is too good to miss out on. Also just finish Bras & Broomsticks by Sarah Mlynowski,Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen, Shug by Jenny Han, Garden Spells by Sarah Addison, How I left the great state of Tennessee and went on to better things: a novel by Joe Jackson, Why Girls are Weird: A Novel, by Pamela Ribon, Getting Warmer by Carol Snow, Conversations with the Fat Girl by Liza Palmer, Manstealing for Fat Girls by Michelle Embree, The Next Thing on my List by Jill Smolinski.

Who I'd like to meet:
I've moved place to place more often, than I would of liked. So, that said, I would like to reconnect with people that I used to know. Hey, I'm up to meeting new people too. I've lived in Minnesota, Iowa, Arizona, Utah, New York, and I now live in Florida...how's that for a list?
