About me: Akemi is Japanese for bright and beautiful. We are a vegan salon in Portland, OR. Owner, Suzzette was tired of how wasteful the industry can be and how many professional product lines test on animals, so she decided to open Akemi. Stephanie,Amber, Kristi, Gus and Alanah joined to make a talented staff! We offer beautiful cuts, colors, and dread installation and maintenance (Also other services but you get it!) Our products are cruelty free, and we really mean it! Davines and Abba are our primary hair care lines. We provide a beautiful atmosphere, and a fun one as well! Mimosa Saturdays are our Fave!
