Akés is Rodrigo Alves from Lisbon, Portugal. Born in 1989 he started to produce in 2003 scary Downtempo musics and Hardcore Hip-Hop beats. In January 2004 Rodrigo released 2 tracks on a compilation called D.Kid & DJ Bolos ao Vivo by Kriação Verbal (2 CD). In 2004 he discovered a way to produce Dark PsyTrance. Today he developed a mixture of Forest DarkPsy and Ambiental Glitch sounds at usualy 150 to 160 beats per minute and some high-tech songs at 170 to 175 beats per minute. Akés have a project with Nervous Mind called Crazy Students to create a mixture of DarkPsy and Twisted.

About Forest Life EP:

Forest Life was the name chosen for this EP to understand that Akés describes through his musics the supernatural and tribal rituals. Between 150 to 155 beats per minute, the tracks Pink Sky; Crossing the Forest and Lost presents fast stereo separations with "wet" mechanical effects and 'glitch' techniques, djembe and tribal kick. It gives you positive vibes and a fresh feeling. Inside is deep, dark and misterious.

The main objective of Akés project by Rodrigo Alves is to share his feelings and also a way for nature communication and mind free. Combining Drum n.. Bass with djembes, strong snares, deep and dark bass and tribal kick, between 155 and 160 beats per minute you will be confused asking if you are on the jungle at night. The ideia of Death Drones resides on far and deep weird sounds like screaming robotic cats and the strange lunatic effects with dark distant melodies.
