About me: Ooh, where should one start? I get to talk about me, fun!
I am a ridiculus type A personality with way too many commitments. I founded and run The Rising Sun Performance Company, work as a freelance theatre producer, Protest with United for Peace and Planned Parenthood when I can, I am a staff member of The NY It Awards and The Paul Butterfield Fund & Society. I direct, Act, sing, dance, hang lights, do paperwork, design sets, haul heavy loads. When I am not doing work for one of the things listed above you might find me performing with Improv Everywhere, RSP, or Attending Lower East Side Jello Wrestling (I soon join the minions of wrestlers too),
I love going to concerts and Movies, Live theatre and taking my cats for outings to the park. If I leave nyc you will find me 60 feet below the oceans surface scuba diving, and wishing I had gils.
I am a thrill seeker, get me on a roller coaster and you're my new best friend. I have lived all over the east coast, and have moved 13 times in my 29 years. Lived in the jungle, been bit by 2 scorpiens and 6 cenipedes, was in a bus that ran over the side of a cliff, fallen down the side of a volcano, a car that flipped three times, experienced 9/11. Scuba dove with Sharks, I have kissed death in the face many times, and apparentely was supposed to live. I should also mention that my whole life I've been a bit of a Lolita, every man who has fallen for me has been at least 10 years older than I... I was Jailbait for many years. I am a walking contradiction- I range from loud and brash to quiet and observant.
I am ever faithful to those I love, though at times moderately selfish. I am patient and kind, nice to puppies & Kittens, but overall don't like kids, babies or anything considered too cute or girly. I would kick ass at survivor but won't admit publicy to loving reality shows. I love Vodka but hate cigarettes. I don't eat meat but I love carnage I love parties but don't like most people Most of my friends are guys but I believe in girl power I LOVE THIS FUCKING LIFE
You Are A Walnut Tree
You are strange and full of contrasts... the oddball of your group.
You are unrelenting and you have unlimited ambition.
Not always liked but always admired, you are more infamous than famous.
You are aggressive and spontaneous, and your reactions are often unexpected.
A jealous and passionate person, you are difficult in romantic relationships.

"Tea-baggers unite! This Wednesday through Sunday only come see the totally unique Jo Stromgren Kompani as they perform in 'The Society' For only $10 (when you enter code MS10) you can't miss this long awaited NYC premiere of non-sensical, absurd humor that is The Jo Stromgren Kompani. Co-presented with Performance Space 122 and The Abrons Arts Center, 'The Society' explores what happens when a society of coffee drinkers discovers a tea drinker in their midst. JSK doesn't enter into the debate (unlike our presidential hopefuls) about whether or not theatre can change our outlook on humanity. Rather they pursue their signature "fart-in-the-universe quest to pinpoint utterly sad human behavior."
....SPECIAL MYSPACE OFFER: Use discount code "MS10" for $10 tickets* (reg $25) Tickets available online or call 212.352. 3101
