Akin, hello and thank you for requesting to add. Welcome new friend!!! I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get in contact with you, I have recently been busy with the release of my solo album and now I am busy with myspace correspondence. I’m so happy to be introduced to your musical works, they are really quite marvelous. You have a great musical imagination. I don’t know if you can understand English, unfortunately I cannot understand Turkish, yet through music we can at least communicate some of our feelings which we cannot express in words.“MelankolikRomantika...” I think is well in keeping with the title of this track starting with the intro and then takes on a somewhat unforeseen direction when the drums come in. But, there is that subtle taste of sadness flowing just underneath the more playful sounds of the melody. There is a feeling of dance and splinters of the early 20th century infused here which are mysterious and attractive to the imagination. “East Storm” I love the expansiveness of the the sound here compared to the first track, that is, it feels so cinematic. This has a wonderful soundtrack feel, which to me is very listenable. There are deserts and jungles visually here. The exotic sounds and progressions and rhythms are really inspiring and evocative of an epic history on film. Looking back on the unknown, the chase, the adventure all part of life, all part of inner discovery. (continued below)
(continued from above) “ArGe” Has a great drum beat and a great sound, I like the reverb as well as your choice of instruments, the piano carrying the lead melody rather than a guitar, for instance. The echoey stringed instrument(?) is really a brilliant sounding, I would like to know what that is. It brings an exotic atmosphere to the sound in that it is not the typical guitar, bass keyboard sound. Reminds me of desert whirlwinds and sandstorms all of which are beautiful from a distance, yet so unpredictably dangerous up close.“Garmash” Takes your sound in a new direction, more electronic, but equally rich in visuals and emotional sensitivity. I love the whispering voices which add a fantastic quality to the track and remind me of thought processes of the mind during sleep. This is an internal journey through the mind and all of its layers and surprises, forgotten memories. That was a great musical journey, thank you once again. I would also love to hear from you and any thoughts, comments or impressions you may have about my own music. For now I hope you are well and look forward to hearing from you, DAVE in California-
