Akira Club is the 'deep electronica' project of Jonathan Frémont. He discovered music early through the Velvet Underground and a lot of indie rock stuffs.
At 14, he thought about learning to play guitar, but he discovered electronic music and an easier way to create his own music, with cheap material.
Since 2004, he's graduated from a sound engineering school in France and worked on few projects such as mixing, recording, producing.
He started 'Akira Club' last year after few years behind the desk to improve the production and creation.
In 2007, he decided to set up his own studio at home with vintage synthesizers and professional monitoring and a lot of new musical desires.
At his new place, at the 13th floor front the city, Jonathan has found a good way to express his feelings and emotions through 'downtempo' beats’. A lot of fresh and deep tunes were born, spontaneously.
He strives to keep an 'analog' and personal touch on his music with warm elements of the past combined to the cutting edge technology of those 'digital' days.
