About Bogáti-Bokor Ákos

Sissy and I met in Autumn of 1999 in a choir. Discoveries: "Sissy has a wonderful voice, Ákos can play the guitar..." Evidently we started to sing together some jazz/bossa nova tunes and the band "Yesterdays" was born. After three years of playing live / rehearsing, we decided to record a duet EP. With the help of our friend Bazsó Tibor we recorded the first EP called "A Whole Half" in one day... and at that time it seemed that it was only the ending of a period, but things just started to grow, we won the first prize at the Félsziget Festival 2004 and after Sissy's moving to England Ákos found some new members and recorded the first Yesterdays album "Holdfénykert" in 2006.

Sissy and I stayed in touch and we are planning to record a very intimate and acoustic album together in 2008! Stay tuned for more information! :)

I will do it so good as possible with enough good music and a progfriend too. These grey and unfriendly days are the best time to enjoy some good old and new stuff. We talked at Progfarm with Edo about the gig in Romania. It would be great to meet us again in March, but nothing is sure, we have to talk about this adventure, first of all it is an idea and wish, second it is a question of costs.
