About me:

A.K. The Great, the name chosen by himself is a constant reminder of the level that he must strive for. Music has been a constant influence on the life of the songwriter/producer/artist who resides in Maryland. Moving through the Midwest around to the East (Iowa,Illinois,Minnesota,Virginia etc.) made a music mark growing up. Every since the age of 11 the music of the great legends of soul and blues inspired him to pursue music. Listening to a wide variety of artist such as Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, Billie Holiday and many others gave him a beginning to his career. Later on many artist of various genres would go on to directly affected his mind-state. From James Brown to Rage Against The Machine to Rakim, the movement of A.K. the Great became apparent. Now through his own movement named Royal Legacy, A.K. plan's to use his music as a tool to express himself and try to establish himself amongst those who have made an impact on the art.
