AKTOR is a heavy yet melodic rock band, revolutionising the fusion between different musical tastes and backgrounds, including Blues and Roots, Punk Rock, Rock, Metal and Hip-hop.
Ads and Shaun, the two founding members of AKTOR spawned the original match of what was once metal, punk and pop. Ric and Dan were soon to join, with the matching combination of an exceptionally talented bassist and melodically bursting voice. But with Ric and Dan joining, it would surely change the mix even more, resulting in what we affectionately love and know AKTOR for today: An angelically powerful voice surrounded by a wave of sounds.
AKTOR are extremely focused on trying to evolve and produce new sounds, songs, styles and combinations of what may have been, giving audiences of all musical backgrounds the opportunity to listen and love.
Having played at some of Sydney's most renowned venues (The Metro, Mona Vale Hotel, Gaelic Club, Annandale Hotel) and the Debut EP due in '09', AKTOR is ready to attack the scene once again.

Excellent set on Saturday night! Really enjoyed it. Sorry I couldn't stick around for a beer afterwards. We'll have to hook up a few more shows next year! We're planning on doing a lot more touring next year, and we'd love to have you guys along for a few shows.
