================================================ Press Reviews
BMI "Andreas Kapsalis is a real-deal artist with a deep soul and a totally original voice. He has always taken my breath away with his unique and evolutionary style of guitar playing but, now that he's found a forum of expression as a film composer, he has crossed into a new realm with an expanded pallet thats truly awe inspiring." - Doreen Ringer-Ross (VP of Film and Television Relations)
Speak-It Productions "For Black Gold, Andreas created the perfected marriage between music and picture. It was always our intention for the music to reflect the juxtaposition and inter-connectedness of the two worlds the film moves between, and Andreas realized this ambition with passion and perfection. By fusing African sounds and rhythms into a distinctly caffeinated score, he produced a cinematic experience which speaks to a global audience." - Nick and Marc Francis (produced and directed Sundance documentary film Black Gold)
"Blue Rondo A la Turk" (AK Trio version) "I am very impressed that Andreas could cover on guitar what I had written for piano. It is quite amazing to hear my own music performed by great instrumentalists." - Dave Brubeck (legendary jazz pianist and composer) ================================================

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Publish artist interviews in English to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazineInterviewsEnglish , interviews in French to http://groups.myspace.com/InterviewsAvecCountryMusicStars and interviews in German to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryMusikInterviews . All these groups on MySpace are part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.

It was my pleasure! Thanks for a great show, can't wait to see you again in indy (or maybe chicago if the chance arises)! I sent the video of "money" to my friend who missed the show...he's a huge pink floyd fan (as am i) though your last song was my favorite. I loved the feedback/pause in the middle. Great drama making people think the song's over and then letting them slowly realize that there is still noise coming from the stage, which grows into a drone (amazing control of the feedback, btw) and then the insane percussionists enter with their dead-on rhythms...like i said before....mind-fuckingly awesome. Oh and you should know that the guys from tonos triad are super jealous of your mad triangle skillz and want to add one to their band (all their drums have to fit in the one suitcase). Best of luck to you on your tour! Give me a shout when you come back to naptown; I'll gladly come out.
you guys are amazing! do u remember when I met you at Ballistico in '04, I think, Andreas? I said you should play out more and I wanted to help u get gigs, and u said, "I don't know..." as if you didn't think you could gig for a living. Man, you're awesome!
It was really great seeing you guys a few weeks back in Indy, I've missed you all dearly. Can't wait to see you November 8th. Look for the Giant Pregnant Girl! lol, Stacy.
