Akwaaba is music from Africa, old and new, traditional and modern, with a weak spot for rumbling dancefloor sounds... music in Africa is often very different from music int he African / world music section of your favorite record store, yet a lot of the music that doesn'tleave Africa ROCKS. So we go there, meet with musicians, and offer to do whatever we can to promote and sell their music outside of Africa. We sell everything digitally, we do CDs and vinyl on occasion, we license music to film and TV, brands, other labels.... if you like it, hit us up, best way to do that is via our website.
