Through my music I hope to inspire many as well as bringing awareness to my foundation called "Song of A Girl" dedicated to saving a generation of lost young girls. This is going to be an exciting year but I cannot take this journey alone. I'll need your support and admiration to guide me as I embark. Together we will build a family of Alache Fans. ALACHE (short bio)
Author, Vocalist and Songwriter Alache exemplifies the very best of todays visionary women of empowerment and talent. Born in Kano, Nigeria where she was given the name Alache, a Nigerian name for watch lady and caregiver. Alache is the daughter of an Air Force General Dad and Author/Evangelist Mother. She comes from a close family of 3 brothers and 1 sister. As a young girl, Alache attended boarding school in Jos, Nigeria before having to move due to her father's promotion in the Nigerian military. At which point in time, the family moved around from Nigeria to France and several states within the United States.
During her early teens while singing in church choirs Alache recognized her love for singing. With the encouragement of her family Alache was able to record her first christian album that appealed to the christian urban market. Alache would eventually go on tour and recieve recognition throughout the Christian music community. During this time Alache was inspired to help young girls who were not as fortunate. She wanted to give teens who faced the hardest times and live sheltered lives, hope and direction. Eventually her vision would come true by establishing her very own charitable organization called "Song of A Girl". Which would eventually become a Christian school in Abuja, Nigeria that will give free education to a selective group of deserving young girls ages 10 to 15.
In 2004, Alache met producer and vocal coach Gerry Williams. Eventually, They would establish a great work relationship that was unbreakable. After 2 years of extensive vocal training Alache approached Gerry about producing her second Album. She decided to record an inspirational album that will appeal to audiences beyond the christian music genre. Adamant and determined to make her album project work , she went on to establish her very own Independent record label Naava Music Group. Soon after, Alache began working on her single with plans on releasing the album in the fall of 2008.
Lecheeee.. it's been to long. good News! They recovered most of the files on Gerry's drive so we did not lose the work after all. What a relief. we are in the process of getting them 100 percent recovered.. call me when you can love. Miss you so much.
