About me:
The most difficult thing to make a foreign travel schedule by yourself with limited budget and time may be the transportation. We have no idea how long does it take by car or boat or train. In Europe especially if your party is more than 2 people and visiting multiple small towns, the cheapest way is not a train, rent-a-car at the most of times. However, you should learn how to drive a manual shift car. Most of cars in Europe are manual diesel cars and small sedans. It is difficult to find vans or station wagons in a high season. If your plan is between the European major cities, air is the cheapest way, not a train. It is extremely cheap, for example $46 between Zurich to Rome one way!
I was believed to buy a round ticket is cheaper. It was not! To match your own interests, budget and schedule, you need “Open Jaw” destination city and city coming back is different. cI found one of the cheapest internet ticket agent www.cheapoair.com www.sidestep.com . Famous travel sites such as www.expedia.com www.travelocity.com are expensive. They carry only famous hotels or airlines which they can make more profit. However, to buy an air ticket between The United Sates and Japan through travel agents seems cheaper. Sometimes agents sell a round ticket around $380, usually around $680.

また行きたいところと、時間、予算を考えると、どうしても到着地と帰る都市が違ってきます。 このような片道チケットはとても高いと長い間信じていたのですが、それは間違いでした。 オープンジョーと呼ばれる到着地と帰る都市を別々に予約すると安く航空券が買えるのです。これで旅行会社のお仕着せでない自分だけの旅行ができるようになりました。 日本に最近進出したエクスペディア www.expedia.com や トラベロシティー www.travelocity.com などは有名ですが料金などを比較してみると 一番安いのは名前のとおりチープオエアー www.cheapoair.com や サイドスッテプ www.sidestep.com などのほうがずっと安いのです。ホテルについても同じで空いたままでいるよりは安くても客を入れてしまおうという航空会社やホテルがたくさん出てきます。ただアメリカ － 日本間は旅行会社の方が安いのです。旅行会社が往復で,,３８０などという安いチケットを出すときがあります。
