All started in Cartagena, around 1998/99 when Daniel (drums) and Diego (guitar) began to have meetings at weekends in order to play into a little boxroom. They were twelve and fourteen years old. Some months later , their first bassist left the band and two old friends of them got into the one:
Gillermo (guitar) and Jose Luis (bass).
Through all these years , the band has been growing up playing songs of diferent kind of music, so punk, rock or metal ..till electro, techno music and, at last, finishing into the dark sounds.
Too much troubles have been hapening through these years to the band and a lot of people have played and finally have left. "Keeper" ( the last keyborards of the band) left the band in 2006 and from the left of the guitarrist Angel "Shock" in April of 2007, the formation is:
Daniel (drums), Guillermo "Khein" ( synth bass, synth guitar and vocals) and Diego "Dandy Dark" (synth guitar and vocals).
Currently, the band only has a demo tape with a poor sound house, that never became to be recorded in a studio. The great new is that they began to record their first studio album last fourth of June.
The style of the band contains from Post-punk, rock or industrial, ..till darkambient, techno, medieval, electrodark, metal or futuristic sounds. A Darkwave style that is always envolved in dark and deep gothic atmospheres.
And about our name, we are "Alae Noctis", that translated it into english means "The Wings of the Night".

Todo empezó en Cartagena entre los años 1998/99 cuando Daniel (batería) y Diego (guitarra) empezaron a reunirse para tocar los fines de semana en un pequeño trastero a la edad de doce y catorce años. Unos meses más tarde, tras la marcha de su primer bajista, dos antiguos amigos entraron en la formación:
Guillermo (guitarra) y Jose Luis (bajo).
Con el paso de los años, el grupo evolucionó tocando versiones de diferentes estilos musicales, desde punk, rock y metal hasta techno, electro y llegando finalmente a los sonidos oscuros.
Demasiados fueron los problemas en aquellos años y ha sido mucha la gente que ha pasado por el grupo y finalmente abandonó. "Keeper"(el ultimo teclista del grupo) se marchó a mediados del 2006 y tras la marcha del guitarrista Angel "Shock" en abril del 2007 la formación ha sido:
Daniel (batería) Guillermo (voz, bajo sintetizado y guitarra sintetizada) y Diego ( voz y guitarra sintetizada).
Por el momento, la banda solo dispone de una maqueta casera de muy baja calidad que nunca llegó a ser grabada en un estudio de grabación.
La buena noticia es que el pasado 4 de junio empezaron a graba su primer album de estudio.
El estilo de la banda abarca desde los sonidos post-punk, rock o industrial, pasando por sonidos folkmedieval, techno, electrodark, dark ambient, metal y sonidos futuristicos. Es un estilo "Darkwave" siempre envuelto por profundas y densas atmosferas góticas.
En cuanto a nuestro nombre, somos "Alae Noctis" que traducido al español significa "Las Alas de la Noche".
