Alain is like my brother from another mother's sister's 2nd cousin's uncle's daughter. He is an amazing person that few can ever keep up with (unless you're downing a 5 hour energy drink w/us) and extremely multitalented as an artist, dj, and marketing guru. One of those friends that will tell me like it is when I ask for advice, because in the long run, its better than telling me what I want to hear instead. Nothing like being at the beach watching the sunrise, seeing a rainbow in the only cloud in the sky, drinking shit lite beer w/mango malibu, laughing with Justin @ the surfer chics trying to row a canoe out to sea w/a 2x4 and their boyfriend's sandal!! i met alain in 1996 at a homebase rave in oakland. he was stringing up some xmas lights on a sign while i was getting my glowstick booth ready... he may be the longest standing friend i have in the rave scene, and it's been awesome seeing him grow as a dj and always remain the kind and genuine friend he is.

I had asked him for a cd way back when I didn't really know who he was, he was extremely friendly and gave me one of his talented cd. Since then, we would chat .. all the time, and he would get me into parties, and I would go and see him spin and it was GRREAT! =) Anyways, since I've stopped partying, I have lost touch with him, but he still seems to be one of the sweetest guys I know. Alain, Alain, Alain...what can I possibly say that every other testimonial hasn't already? I wish I saved the original testimonial I had written for him. It was straight from the heart and the most meaningful thing I had written in quite some time! Well I remember when I first met Alain. Jeannie had introduced us at the Wet Party. What stands out in my mind the most, though, is when we actually first talked. It was by that back gate in Hotel Ibiza. I just remember thinking to myself that this was a person that I really wanted to keep in my life somehow. I haven't known Alain for very long...and Lord knows that he deserves a much better friend than I have been able to be...but I consider him a true friend and have this great affection for him that I can't quite explain.
