About me:
Concerned Bikers Association-ABATE of Alamance County is a grassroots political organization that aims to protect the rights of motorcyclists. We work with legislators in Raleigh and Washington DC (through the Motorcycle Riders Foundation) to fight unfair legislation.
We are also involved in educating non-riders about motorcycle safety through our Motorcycle Safety Awareness Program (MSAP). Volunteer instructors go into high school drivers education classes and try to get past the stereotypes of "bikers" and help them to see us when they are on the road.
Another thing we try do do is have fun! Chapter activities and supporting other CBA chapter events are a great way to enjoy our lifestyle and build friendships with riders from all over the state (and beyond).
If you care about motorcycling, consider joining us at one of our monthly meetings. We meet the second Wednesday of every month at Breakzone Billiards in Burlington At 7 pm. Hope to see you there!
