Alamode are an acoustic trio who began in 2005 when Stuart and Rory started writing together in their Music classes at school.
They began gigging locally and developing their sound before welcoming Rob into the band and branching out into London. Venues such as ULU, The Monto Water Rats, The Garage, and The Purple Turtle have played host to their acoustic blues influenced music.
Alamode were runners-up in the Havering Raw Talent competition 2008 and have since progressed into a more mature and exciting group of musicians. Their rock/pop style is becoming more influenced by blues and their unique sound has started getting them attention on the gigging circuit.
Having been a recent hit on Phoenix FM's Curveballs show the band are now continuing to write and record their debut album. Expect to hear lots more from these guys in the future.
