Alamos was a rock band from Dundee, Scotland. The band released 3 singles and 2 full length albums during it's lifespan, which ran between 2003 to 2008. Brothers Kris and Mark Keiller were the founding members with the addition of old school friend, Fraser Stewart. Stewart replaced original bassist, Andrew Robertson who left just before the release of the band's eponymous debut LP in 2006. The album along with all 3 singles were released through local label, Pet Piranha Records and owner, Andrew McGarry was instrumental in raising the band's profile. Alamos gigged intensively around the UK and possessed a healthy on-stage chemistry, which the band wished to capture on their 2nd album, 'Captain Indifferent Says, Whatever'. The album was recorded live in Electrical Audio, Chicago by Steve Albini in 2007 and was released the following year in CD format. Later that year the band decided to split and played it's final show in Dundee University's Student Union on the 23rd October.

Members of Alamos can now be found playing in Fat Goth, Thews and Pensioner.
